GRACE Risk Score

Estimates admission to 6-month mortality in patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (NSTEMI / UA).

Clinical Utility

The GRACE (Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events) score is endorsed by current ESC and AHA/ACC guidelines to stratify risk in patients presenting with Non-ST Elevation Acute Coronary Syndrome (NSTE-ACS).

Timing of Angiography

  • Score > 140 (High Risk): Early invasive strategy recommended (< 24 hours).
  • Score 109 - 140 (Intermediate Risk): Invasive strategy recommended (< 72 hours).
  • Score < 109 (Low Risk): Consider non-invasive ischemia testing or conservative management.
