TIMI Risk Score (NSTEMI)

Estimates the 14-day risk of all-cause mortality, new/recurrent MI, or severe ischemia requiring urgent revascularization.

TIMI vs GRACE

While the TIMI score is simpler to calculate at the bedside because it assigns 1 point to each criteria, the GRACE score has been shown to be superior for predicting mortality and is preferred by current guidelines.

14-Day Risk of Ischemic Events

  • Score 0-1: 4.7% (Low Risk)
  • Score 2: 8.3% (Low Risk)
  • Score 3: 13.2% (Intermediate Risk)
  • Score 4: 19.9% (Intermediate Risk)
  • Score 5: 26.2% (High Risk)
  • Score 6-7: 40.9% (High Risk)
